I have always had a passion for cooking and trying new foods. I love hosting a good dinner party and sharing recipes with my nearest and dearest. After completing my Associate Degree in Information Technology I decided it was time to up and leave my job of 6 years, which by the way was in the IT industry, and spend my hard earned cash on a travel adventure around the world. I am really looking forward to experiencing new cultures and taste testing what the big wide world has to offer. Since I am leaving most of my recipe tasting test bunnies behind, I decided to enter the blogging world to keep them all up to date with my travels and the delicious tasting cuisine I discover!
My Recipes
Something you should know about my recipes is that I am somewhat hopeless with measurements! I am the kinda person that chucks stuff in until it looks like its enough or until it tastes amazing. I will however do my best to put accurate measurements in anything I post so you can recreate it.
My Photos
All of my photos are taken on my super awesome Nikon P500 Coolpix camera. This was a new purchase for my travels, so I am still discovering how to use it properly!
Photo Editing Software
I am pretty lazy when it comes to editing my photos, so most of them are just as is. For those odd few that I have altered, lets be honest, I would love to be using Photoshop but being the cheapo person that I am, I am testing out PhotoScape which is free to download. It seems to do the job so far!
