An old family favourite in our household we love to have this over the winter with a warm pot of soup. Such a simple recipe that I often have straight from the oven or even pop a piece in the toaster to give it an extra crunch.
2 1/2 cups self raising flour, sifted
250g tasty cheese, half grated and half cubed
1 packet (40g) french onion soup
1 1/2 cups milk
Method
Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees. Line loaf tin with baking paper.
Combine all ingredients together and mix well. Place mixture into prepared tin and bake for 45-50 minutes or until skewer is inserted and comes out clean. Sit aside for 5 minutes before turning on to wire rack to cool.
